A recent healing which my husband has had through Christian Science was from an injured knee joint, when, according to medical belief, an operation appeared necessary. My husband was away at the time attention was first called to it, but immediately asked help of a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly assisted him until he arrived home, when he asked another practitioner to take charge of the case. The healing was slow, covering a number of weeks; but during all of the time my husband experienced no pain or inconvenience. Although he was called upon to do extra work, necessitating almost constant walking, he experienced no discomfort whatsoever. I am indeed grateful for this proof of the practicability of Christian Science, which never fails when rightly applied.
I am more than grateful for the spiritual uplift I have received through experiences and healings and the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in connection with the Bible, as well as for the stronger faith and trust in God that I have gained. I know that "with God all things are possible."
I have been helped greatly at times of childbirth, and have also been healed of influenza. One of our children has been healed of a mastoid abscess; and many minor ailments have been overcome by Truth. In a time of financial limitation, we have proved God to be an all-sufficient supply.
