About eight years ago I was almost instantly healed of what a doctor called extreme nervous heart. I had been under bondage to this trouble for many years. Each attack was followed by a period of weakness and recuperation; but not so when the truth, as Christian Science reveals it, was the remedy applied; for the healing was complete. There has never been the slightest symptom of this disease since.
This healing led me to the study of Christian Science. About eighteen years previous to this time I was operated upon twice within a month for fistula. Both sphincter muscles being cut, I was left in a deplorable condition. All those years I practically lived on starchy foods, eating little else. After I had been reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for only a short time, I noticed I was eating anything I wanted, and without any inharmonious after effects.
