I am more grateful than I can express that Christian Science has taught me something of the fatherhood and motherhood of God. I had always missed the love of a human father and mother, but even though the lack of it seemed severe at times, it caused me to turn to God and acknowledge Him as my Father and Mother. And divine Love has blessed me beyond what I can express. Christian Science has met all my needs so beautifully! I have been benefited physically, morally, spiritually, financially, and socially. I have had numerous proofs of God's guidance and loving care for His children. Christian Science has improved every department of my life, and has made me a more normal, happy, and useful young man. I was never happy before I learned of Christian Science.
I owe the Christian Science Sunday School an endless debt of gratitude. I have been out of it only a short time, and my attendance there was one of the sweetest experiences I have had. It was there that I first learned something of divine Love's fatherhood and motherhood; and when I look back upon that experience, tears of gratitude and love come to my eyes. Truly the Mother-love of God fed me and taught me of Love's abundance.
God unfolded the way and supplied the need which enabled me to attend college. In this experience Christian Science enables me to do things which before would have been impossible because of the limitations of error. The Christian Science organization in the college awakened me to the responsibilities and privileges of organized Christian Science work. What I learned by serving in this work is among my most valued possessions. It has been and will always be a source of great inspiration.
