I am deeply grateful to God that He led me to Christian Science at the comparatively early age of twenty-one years. Through the loving work of a practitioner, and through my earnest study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, sicknesses, both mental and physical, which could never have been healed by physicians, have been healed.
For many years before coming into Christian Science I suffered from neurasthenia and fear of every kind in their worst forms. At last I was so ill that I could no longer attend to my work. I led a wretched existence. Then Christian Science came into my life. I gradually learned to understand that one who is bound by fear and sickness is not the true man, created by God, but only a mortal dreamer. I learned to recognize that God has created man spiritual, healthy, and harmonious.
In due time I recovered my health to the extent that I can now attend to my work to the satisfaction of all, and am able to do justice to the demands of each day. I am most grateful for Christian Science; it is my light.
