SINCE Mary Baker Eddy revealed to the world through her published works on Christian Science the actual relationship which has always existed between God and His creation, including man, there has been a wonderful awakening on the part of mankind to the truth of man's inalienable right to harmony. Reading the Bible in the new light which Christian Science throws on it, we find glorious glimpses of the love and compassion of our infinite Father-Mother God, and awaken to know a better world.
In the course of his ministry among the children of men Christ Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." On page 223 of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy says, "The question, 'What is Truth,' convulses the world."
Now, it is an acknowledged fact that in any line of effort an understanding of the true state of things must be gained in order to achieve correct results. We can hope to succeed in no other way. In mathematics we invariably endeavor to bring a problem into harmony with the law of mathematics in order to attain a correct solution. In music we strive to apply the fundamentals of music in order to express harmony. But confronted with the problems which beset human existence, and which include every kind of physical and mental inharmony, mankind has been utterly illogical.
