With a heart filled with gratitude I wish to testify to the great blessings which I have received through Christian Science.
Nine years ago, while visiting my sisters, I was healed of chronic nervous indigestion, from which I had suffered for seventeen years. I could eat everything put before me, and soon gained in weight and grew stronger. Two years ago I suffered from a nervous breakdown. I had no desire to live, and did not see anything beautiful or take any interest in anything in my home. I had Christian Science treatments; and by reading and trying to put into practice what little I knew of the truth, I was healed. I commenced to see that the fault lay with my thinking, and to know that mortal thought is never the truth about man, never real, and that God's love alone fills all space.
I cannot thank God enough for this last healing, and for each trial that has forced me to give up some false sense of self. I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good, and to Mary Baker Eddy, and for all the help I have so lovingly received from Christian Science practitioners.— Whiteford, Maryland.
