Over ten years ago Christian Science found our home in the depths of darkness and despair, for the doctors had told my husband, who had been suffering for some months from heart trouble, that he could not expect to be well again. It was then that man's extremity in our case, for Christian Science healed him. Since that time it has been our greatest joy to get to know more of this wonderful truth. Jesus said it would make us free when we did know it; but how to gain such knowledge we understood not until it was revealed to us by Mrs. Eddy in Christian Science.
We have had many other healings in our home, including bronchial pneumonia, influenza, rheumatism, lumbago, and acute gastritis, and have indeed proved for ourselves the truth of the words, "Bless the Lord . . . who healeth all thy diseases." One recent healing I should like to recount, as it was such a clear proof that the truth, as understood in Christian Science, frees us from the bondage of the so-called law of heredity, whether we are aware of this latter or not.
