Testimonies of Healing

It is with pleasure that I take...

From the March 1926 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It is with pleasure that I take this means of telling the great benefit which Christian Science has been to me, as taught by its Discoverer and Founder, Mrs. Eddy, and demonstrated by one of its many sincere and beloved practitioners. My case was one which the doctors called nervous exhaustion, but they were not able to help me, and at the suggestion of a dear friend I asked for help in Christian Science. Although not confined to bed at any time, I was unable to do my work, or to see many people, or to take much thought for business matters, and was what is sometimes termed "a wreck." Although I did not immediately see any good results, I persevered, with the feeling that Christian Science alone could help me; and to-day my friends would not think that I had ever even been thought an invalid.

At the time I commenced treatment I could walk very little and very slowly. To-day I am doing my own work. I can walk miles, if necessary, and am again taking an interest in life, which interest I thought at one time would never return. This is all due to the understanding of God as taught by Christian Science.

To realize that God is All-in-all, and therefore that good is all, and that evil is only an unreal or false belief, without place or power, is such a wonderful and helpful experience, both in a spiritual and physical way. Truly and constantly to desire to realize this great and fundamental truth of Christian Science will surely lead to its realization and the infinite benefits which the realization brings.
