About seven years ago I came into Christian Science for a healing of hay fever, with which I had been troubled for fourteen years, never sleeping from eleven o'clock at night until four in the morning. I was divinely led to ask a practitioner for help. The healing was instantaneous. I knew nothing of Christian Science until this experience. I am learning now the truth of what Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 322): "The sharp experiences of belief in the supposititious life of matter, as well as our disappointments and ceaseless woes, turn us like tired children to the arms of divine Love. Then we begin to learn Life in divine Science." In a short time we began to attend church services regularly on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, and to study daily the Lesson-Sermons.
About two years later my husband and I became members of a branch church. Now we are both joining in its activities. I find it a pleasure to be in the Sunday school, and to share in the distribution work, which is reaching all over the world to-day, bringing blessings to all who want to know about infinite Truth. Words can never express our gratitude to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who was pure enough to give the wonderful truth of Christian Science to the world. We owe all we have to this Science. I am grateful for every channel through which Truth operates, and for the spiritual uplifting which its coming brings. There have been many other healings in our home. We are striving more each day to learn to be grateful for what we have, to turn to God more and let good be manifested; and I know there is nothing that Christian Science will not heal when understood and rightly applied.—Indianapolis, Indiana.
