I was brought up in a Christian home, attended an orthodox church, and was an earnest church worker, but there was always a feeling of unrest, a longing for something that would bring peace.
From a child I was not well, lack of strength and fatigue being two of the things which made life unsatisfactory. I have seen these and many other troubles disappear through the study of Christian Science. Indeed, it would be impossible to tell all that Christian Science has done for me. I have been healed of mental and physical ailments; and through the elimination of fear from consciousness, circumstances have been overcome which it had seemed impossible to meet. Sick beliefs and faults of character are being gradually driven away through the application of the truth that makes free, and better health, joy, and peace are taking their place. I am finding that it is the understanding of our unity with God, good, that solves our problems; for it is in God that "we live, and move, and have our being."
I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, who brought peace on earth; and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave to the world Christian Science. I am grateful to the loving practitioners who have always been ready with their help and encouragement. For the blessing of class instruction, and for all the periodicals, which are an inspiration, I am truly grateful. I am a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, and the only way I can show my gratitude is to reflect Life, Truth, and Love as Mrs. Eddy has taught us.— Deansboro, New York.
