Testimonies of Healing

Words seem inadequate to express...

From the February 1928 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Words seem inadequate to express the deep gratitude I feel towards Christian Science for the many blessings I have received since I turned to this wonderful truth, which indeed sets men free. I have been instantaneously healed of a floating kidney after being told by three medical doctors that an operation was the only means of relief. I have also been healed of severe headaches, for which I was obliged to wear glasses for six years. One day I forgot to put the glasses on while reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and have not worn them for the last ten years. Constipation was also overcome while I was being treated for other difficulties.

Innumerable have been my physical healings and demonstrations, for which I am profoundly grateful; but I feel far more grateful for the spiritual regeneration which is enabling me to travel this journey from sense to Soul with love, meekness, steadfastness, and patience. I rejoice in the privilege of having all the authorized literature, especially The Christian Science Monitor, and am so grateful for membership in The Mother Church, and in one of its branches. I shall ever be grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having provided for us class instruction, and my daily prayer is that I shall be able to help others with as much love and patience as has been shown me.—
