God had always seemed a close, living, and loving reality to me, and yet totally unavailable. When a student of Christian Science told me that this Science would help me to know more about God, I felt that my prayer to be shown the way had been answered, and began at once to study the Lesson-Sermons, and to attend the church services and lectures. I soon found that this Christianly scientific understanding of Truth, when properly applied, freed me from such discordant conditions as ptomaine poisoning, internal growth, and minor ailments, and that it was a protection as well. I am very grateful to God for Christian Science with all of its channels for good to mankind; also for our Leader's writings, for the activities of The Mother Church and the stanch and steadfast Directors thereof, for loyal teachers of Christian Science, faithful practitioners, and our literature.— Lake City, Florida.
