God shows through loving law, the way to glorify
His name as angels do, and hungry hearts to satisfy;
His constant presence, glowing through His conscious Word,
Reveals how these be healed and comforted, and sleepers stirred.
Thus momently He feeds the heart with sweet increase
Of grace, and holds all those who love His law in bands of peace.
His secret bounty thus appears in work well done;
Blest joy! where hand joins hand and heart meets heart, and Mind
is One.
