NOTES FROM THE PUBLISHING HOUSE

From the May 1928 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In September, 1927, we announced the Continuous Subscription Plan, applicable to The Christian Science Monitor, and now, in response to frequent requests, it has been found possible to extend this plan to cover the other periodicals, namely, The Christian Science Journal, Christian Science Sentinel, Christian Science Quarterly, Der Herold der Christian Science, and Le Heraut de Christian Science.

For the benefit of those who are not familiar with the Continuous Subscription Plan, we may say that it provides for the renewal of a subscription without lapse. The plan is open to all, but, with the exception of the Quarterly, the shortest period for which a subscription will be entered on this basis is six months, for which payment should be made in advance; if equally convenient to the subscriber, it is more convenient for the Publishing Society to receive subscriptions for one year with accompanying remittance, as this necessitates sending only one bill a year. The shortest period for which the Quarterly may be entered is one year. Subscribers wishing to avail themselves of this arrangement may so instruct the Publishing Society, and a bill will be rendered in advance, instead of the customary renewal notice. In case remittance does not reach us before termination, the Monitor, Journal, Sentinel, and Heralds will be extended for thirty days, and the Quarterly for one quarter, unless we are notified in the meantime to discontinue the subscriptions.
