It is a joy and a privilege to bear witness to the healing power of Truth through our periodicals. Late one afternoon I was attacked by symptoms of the grippe. I began to work faithfully in Science, and was able fearlessly and successfully to meet and master this condition, and was completely free the following morning. These words of our Leader remained in my thought: "Matter is a human concept. Life is divine Mind" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 469). I have been healed of double pneumonia, sprained ankles, smallpox, and many other of the so-called ills which "flesh is heir to." I know that Christian Science heals, and will continue to heal throughout all time.
I am grateful to God for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and for class instruction by a loyal teacher in Christian Science; for the Manual of The Mother Church, which governs, controls, and protects the Christian Science movement; and also I am grateful for all our periodicals, for the loving service of practitioners, and for the Board of Lectureship. I am also grateful to Christ Jesus and our beloved Leader, who have made it possible for us to demonstrate God's allness.— Atlanta, Georgia.
