Obediently and in deep gratitude to God, I am sending this testimony, hoping that it may benefit others.
I should like to tell of the healing of a sprained ankle. Relief from pain took place almost instantaneously, and the swelling disappeared in a short time, as it became clear to me that man is spiritual and perfect, that an accident had never occurred in divine Mind, and that divine Mind is the only Mind or Principle governing man. Thus God was proved an ever present help. I was able to walk up and down stairs, but I was seized with fear that I might not be able to be at the Reader's desk the next morning. Help was asked of a practitioner who lovingly took up the work, the result being that all fear disappeared and I was about the Father's business the next morning. There was some swelling and discoloration, but I was able to wear my shoe. One week from that day I drove an automobile, using my foot without any discomfort. For this proof of healing and the spiritual uplifting I experienced, I am deeply grateful.
I am thankful to God and to our Way-shower, Christ Jesus. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, and in one of its branch churches; also grateful to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, whose consecrated life enabled her to give Christian Science to this age. I rejoice in having had the opportunity of class instruction and for the benefits from Association meetings each year.
