About five years ago our baby manifested an aggravated condition of constipation which was very persistent, and each time it recurred it seemed harder to see its unreality. On page 233 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy we are told, "Every day makes its demands upon us for higher proofs rather than professions of Christian power." It came to me that I had not obediently read the periodicals as I should, and that there was a message for me in the testimonies of healing. So, with each one I read I rejoiced that someone else had felt the divine power and had experienced healing. Very soon I found myself so grateful for the power and proof being made manifest to others that the physical difficulty dissolved away.
I am grateful to have had the privilege of instruction in the Christian Science Sunday School. It has protected me and helped me to do much more than I should otherwise have been capable of.
I have had many healings. The experience of childbirth proved to me that what we need to be delivered from is the belief in material law, and that through Christian Science we can be safely and harmoniously saved from this belief. When I begin to count my blessings I find them incalculable; and they include class instruction, membership in The Mother Church, and the glorious privilege of working for God. — Hastings upon Hudson, New York.
