Of the many blessings which Christian Science has brought to me, that of the healing of crippled hands means much every day. Having the fear of blindness removed, and being able to lay aside glasses, worn from about the age of fourteen years, while reading the first chapter of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, proved conclusively to me that Christian Science could give me the understanding of God for which I longed.
A member of my family used to get up at night and prepare hot cloths to place at the back of my head to induce sleep. Now I lie down humbly thankful, and welcome the moments when I am awake as being such a contrast to the time when I dreaded the seemingly endless night hours.
The understanding of what home is enables me to be happy and useful in a field far removed from relatives. Added to this I have the joy of membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. I have also had the privilege of class instruction. Best of all, opportunities come to help my fellow-man to see his way out of the mirage of foolish fears and into the land of Christian Science. Truly, "who is so great a God as our God?" —Bradenton, Florida.
