A TRIBUTE TO MARY BAKER EDDY

From the July 1929 issue of The Christian Science Journal

THE search for spiritual understanding has brought to the world gleams of divine Love throughout the centuries, and we of to-day are blessed by the work of every reformer the world has ever known. A poet has said,

"That all of good the past hath had
Remains to make our own time glad."

The Old Testament contains many instances of the fact that the seeker finds God when he searches for Him with all his heart. A study of the book of Psalms, of the prophets, and of the words and works of Christ Jesus in the New Testaments, affords constant encouragement to those who seek Christ, Truth.
