I am sincerely grateful for Christian Science. It was certainly a great help to me during my mother's experience, and I know I can always look back on it as a great lesson in many ways. I should like to tell of my healing of measles. I awoke one morning with this ailment. I was in bed for two days and tried to help myself as best I could. My mother helped me also, and in a week I went back to school. The teacher sent me down to the hospital nurse. She examined me and said that I did not look well and so would have to go home for another week. I quickly reversed the erroneous thoughts that she expressed and went home. I felt perfectly well all that week, but did not go back until the appointed time. The nurse then pronounced me normal, and I am happy to say I had none of the after effects. I know that it was only the power of Truth that healed me so quickly. I have also been healed of whooping cough, and chicken pox; of severe toothache in about an hour; and of boils all over my body.
I am fifteen years old and attend the Sunday school of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, here, for which I am deeply grateful. I am also very grateful for The Christian Science Monitor.—, Baltimore, Maryland
