It is with great joy and gratitude that I give this testimony of a recent healing. After the birth of my second son I was overcome with a sense of great mental darkness and fear. This condition did not improve; so after six months I went to England and obtained loving and patient help from a Christian Science practitioner. I had been studying Christian Science for some years. I had had a similar attack after the birth of my first baby, four years before, and had been healed by the help of the same practitioner. The second attack being worse than the first, I had to strive very hard to overcome the error; but, although the healing was slow, I learned so much more of the truth that now I can even rejoice that I encountered that bitter experience. I had to study earnestly and persistently, until the light of Truth filled my consciousness and banished all the darkness and fear and pain.
I am very grateful to the loving practitioner who helped me so steadfastly, and rejoice to say that I have been able to help others in some measure.
