After about ten years' study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I feel it a great privilege to testify in writing to the healing efficacy of Christian Science.
I was healed of nervousness of many years' standing, caused, so physicians claimed, by telephone operating; also of bowel trouble, hemorrhoids, influenza, indigestion, and a broken wrist. The last-named healing seemed very wonderful to me at that stage in my experience. While I was cranking a car, the handle flew back, dislocating the joint and breaking a bone in the forearm. It seemed very painful at the time. Work was taken up by a loving Christian Science practitioner and the healing was accomplished in less than three days, so that I was able to resume my household duties and do my regular ironing.
All this is only a little of God's goodness to me. I am most grateful to say that I am now able to overcome a bad temper and to love more. I could relate many instances of God's protecting power, and I am deeply grateful for every avenue through which love can come to us.— Compton, California
