From the June 1931 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Christian Science found me an invalid, and quickly healed me of a severe nervous breakdown, following an operation. Since that time, through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner and the continued study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have been healed of grippe, sore throat, severe headaches, indigestion, infections of the eyes and foot, and the need of wearing glasses for close work.

Christian Science is also helping me to overcome unlovely traits of character, such as self-pity, self-will, sensitiveness, condemnation, and fear through the understanding that man "has not a single quality underived from Deity" (Science and Health, p. 475). Mrs. Eddy also tells us (ibid.) that man "is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas." Knowing this has enabled me to finish my school work, after an absence of six years, and to take my place in the business world.

To many of my friends this all seems like a miracle; but it is just the simple truth about the real man, and I am grateful that I have been able to prove, in part, that "all things are possible with God," as revealed to us in Christian Science.—
