It is with a very deep sense of gratitude that I submit my testimony relative to the blessings and proofs of God's care that have come to me through Christian Science.
A healing which meant my life came to me several years ago. My condition was that of a toxic goiter. I had been in bed for almost four months, lying there in cotton pads, as there seemed nothing left of me but skin and bones. The doctors had given me up; there was nothing they could do. I had not taken nourishment of any kind for about five days. The same day that the doctors gave up the case and I was expected not to live until the next morning, we turned to Christian Science for help and a practitioner was called. She could not come until the next day at noon, but I was immediately able to take a little nourishment and all fear disappeared. I enjoyed a good night's rest for the first time in months. In just a few days I was sitting up in a rocker for a little while, and from then on I improved every day until I was healed.
Since then we have had many wonderful proofs of God's ever present care and protection, both in healing and in business matters.
