For more than a score of years Christian Science has met every need that has arisen in my experience. Many instantaneous healings have come through the loving help of practitioners and through my own realization of God's allness in the light of our Leader's teaching. Gratitude and spiritual understanding have increased when the unwinding of the snarls of material sense involved a period of time. As Mrs. Eddy has wisely shown us in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 240), "One must pay fully and fairly the utmost farthing, until all error is finally brought into subjection to Truth."
My first investigation was prompted by the desire for a religion that would satisfy the unrest and ceaseless questions that could not be satisfied with life as it then seemed. I have been richly rewarded and blessed.
My first physical healings were of catarrhal colds, neuralgia of the head and shoulders, extreme nervousness and insomnia, and a sensitive throat that had troubled me since childhood. There has been no return of these ills. There has been no resort to material remedies since my first reading of the textbook.
