I am grateful to have the opportunity to express my gratitude to God, the Giver of all good, for Christian Science. Over twenty years ago, in a time of great need, when all seemed dark and hopeless, I was led into Christian Science. From childhood I had been in poor health, as a result of scarlet fever, and I could not enjoy life. In the summer of 1911 I was suffering from an internal trouble, and had tried many doctors; but all had failed to heal me. Finally, a dear friend advised me to try osteopathy, as she thought that it had done wonders for her. I had set the time to call on an osteopath; but as I was leaving the house, the "still small voice" of Truth whispered, Why not try Christian Science first? I had many friends who were interested in Christian Science, but had always thought it was not for me. I inquired for a practitioner and called on her; and she lovingly helped me in my time of need. That night I rested well, and in the morning found that a difficulty of long standing had been instantaneously healed; and other ailments were healed in a few weeks.
Christian Science has wrought a complete change for the better in my way of living and thinking, and has given me a sense of peace and joy that I never thought possible. I have been blessed with the understanding that God is the only true healer, and that with Him all things are possible, when He is rightly understood. — Moorestown, New Jersey.
