"NOW therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God." In the world there are many millions of people of many nationalities and types, but in reality the real selves of all of them are members of "the household of God." The realization of this happy fact brings home to us a true sense of the brotherhood of man, and enables us to appreciate the truth of the Apostle Paul's statement.
Do we value as we should the priceless privilege that is ours as members of "the household of God"? This household is a spiritual habitation, wherein consciousness is governed by divine law alone—by "Truth, Life, and Love," which our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 243), declares "are a law of annihilation to everything unlike themselves, because they declare nothing except God."
Because our true home or dwelling place is in divine consciousness, it can never be a material structure. As members of a human household we all contribute our individual part towards the harmony and happiness of the home. As members of divine Love's household we are forever atone with Love; and since the law of Love is the law of the household and the motive power of its members, there can be no enmity or strife, no misunderstanding, and no sense of separation or of any other phase of discord; and none are ever expelled from membership therein.
