I feel so grateful for the many beautiful healings received through Christian Science that I feel it is my turn to write my testimony. It is nearly twelve years since I had my first healing, and during that time my life has been full of healings as a result of the application of Christian Science. I shall tell of the one for which I am particularly grateful and which took place eleven years ago.
Two months before our first baby was born I was thrown from a buggy and for one month before confinement I could not sit down. At the time of birth the doctor discovered various internal injuries and told my husband that if I recovered an operation would be necessary. The baby was born very harmoniously, but from then on I suffered complications and much distress. The friend who helped me at that time in Christian Science with my consent kindly mentioned my need to a practitioner. Almost as soon as the letter reached its destination I received a full healing. I was sleeping peacefully when I was awakened and felt something being adjusted. The next day I realized that misplacements and all discomforts had disappeared and I was free.
I have also been healed of rheumatism, gathered breasts, pleurisy, influenza, and very bad headaches. Many times when in distress, through reading an article in The Christian Science Journal or Sentinel I have been so uplifted that I have realized healing. For these many blessings and wonderful protections, also for all the Christian Science literature, I give thanks to God and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.— Broadview, Saskatchewan, Canada.
