I cannot find words to express my gratitude. When I was first drawn to Christian Science it was not for physical healing, although I was pronounced in a critical condition. My grandmother had been given a copy of Science and Health several years before, and it had been in our home since then, but its rich contents were unknown to me. One day it attracted my attention and I decided to read it for my own enlightenment. I became so interested in it on one occasion that I read all night. As the loss of sleep did not seem to bother me, I began to take this wonderful explanation of the Bible more seriously.
It occurred to me that I could be cured of the malady from which I had suffered and for which I had been under the care of doctors for several years. I had been told that I would, perhaps, never experience excellent health again. I called on a Christian Science practitioner for help, and work was begun immediately. I began to improve so rapidly that much comment was made by those who knew not what I had done. I am now in the best of health. I have passed an examination during which my condition was pronounced perfect.
Since this healing I have experienced several demonstrations. My daily study of Christian Science has become a necessity, and as I study each day I gain a little more understanding, for which I am truly grateful.
