With love, joy, and deep gratitude I should like to testify to the wonderful healings I have received since becoming a student of Christian Science.
In the early spring of 1925 my husband wished to take my daughter and me to the opening of a new building which had been erected, and which he had passed every day during its erection. It was a Christian Science church. I noticed Mrs. Eddy's name under some verses on the walls—something which appeared very unusual to me, and was, I thought, great sacrilege in a church. I immediately went to the library in search of literature about this woman, and was given "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." While I was perusing this book various discordant physical conditions disappeared, namely, heart trouble, from which I had suffered for many years, rheumatism, kidney trouble, numbness of the limbs, indigestion, and neuralgia. All of these ailments had been chronic, but as I studied, the entire outlook of my life and my thinking were changed and, needless to say, from the time of that first revelation of Truth no drugs or medicines of any kind have been used in our home.
My daughter was sent to the Christian Science Sunday School, and with the help of a practitioner was healed of mastoiditis, from which she had suffered for five years. We had had the best attention medical aid could give, but to no avail, until this wonderful truth was revealed.
