When I first heard of Christian Science, in 1926, 1 was suffering from a nervous breakdown, which later incurred the verdict from the doctor, "hereditary insanity." Christian Science has taught me that as God's child man inherits only that which is good. At the end of 1927 the way opened up for me to take up work in my profession again, and in 1929, after increased success in this profession, the doctor was called upon again, this time to certify to my complete sanity, through his compliance with the request that he should sign papers necessary for a passport to enable me to go abroad. Christian Science has healed me of colds, influenza, stings, a wrenched arm, and intense pain. These have been overcome with the understanding that mortal mind is the seat of all discord, while the divine Mind produces only harmony.
The best blessing of all is that I have grown to know God as Love; this knowledge has resulted in better morals, strengthened character, and a deep-rooted peace.
