Inspired by gratitude for healings experienced and for many demonstrations of the provable knowledge of God and of man's relationship to Him, I submit this testimony.
Christian Science is the most wonderful thing that ever came into my life and was presented to me by my wife at a time when I was oppressed by a sense of failure. I sought aid of a Christian Science practitioner —one of God's untiring messengers, who truly are servants of mankind. Everything which the practitioner said seemed so logical, so practical, and she reflected so much love for humanity, that I found myself listening eagerly to her spiritual explanations and counsel. The casual reading of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, soon became a study of vital interest to me, and the truths stated therein began to fill my consciousness.
Since this beginning, over three years ago, a complete transformation has been wrought, for I am a new man. The use of profanity, the tobacco habit of twenty-five years' standing, and a chronic and decided appetite for liquor and pleasure in social drinking have all passed harmoniously into nothingness.
