I feel that gratitude for my healing in Christian Science will not be complete until I give thanks to God, the Giver of all good, "who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."
Up to the time I took up the study of Christian Science I was always under a doctor's care, but there came a time when materia medica failed to meet my needs. "Man's extremity is God's opportunity," and when I met with an accident which left me in a serious nervous condition, the "still small voice" seemed to say, Try Christian Science. The most difficult belief to overcome was the fear of being alone during this trial period, but through the work of a practitioner I was helped out of darkness into the light of Truth and Love, and I was enabled to see myself as a child of God. I have been healed of chronic sick headaches, constipation, diphtheritic throat, tonsillitis in its worst form, and of the predisposition to take cold. Thanks to God and to the revelation of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, all these conditions have been healed through the scientific understanding that God is our only Physician and "a very present help in trouble."
I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and for serving as a teacher in Sunday school; also for class instruction and for all the Christian Science literature.—Dallas, Texas.
