Christian Science has changed my whole life, and it is with great joy and gratitude that I recount some of the innumerable blessings that have come to me through its study and application.
My first physical healing was of a tumor. Three physicians told me that an operation would be necessary. I knew very little about Christian Science at that time, but decided to try it. After the third treatment by a practitioner I realized that the condition had entirely disappeared; I was healed. This occurred over nineteen years ago, and the condition has never returned.
Another healing, about five years ago, of a spinal curvature, is recalled with deep gratitude. For some time I had experienced at intervals much pain and discomfort in my back. At these times faithful work was done by a practitioner and the pain would cease, but in time would return. One day I discovered that there was a very pronounced lateral curve in the lower part of the spine. This was reported to the practitioner, and through clear spiritual vision, faithful and loving work, the healing came. The third evening after I reported the condition, after I had retired, the spine straightened and I was healed. The condition never returned. I am deeply grateful for the wonderful freedom which followed this healing. Being a graduate chiropractor, I realize all too well the dreadful bondage of these false beliefs. The teachings and beliefs of mortal mind say that it is absolutely impossible to correct a spinal curvature after one has reached middle age. I was much past middle age when this healing came to me.
