It is with deep gratitude to God for His priceless gift, Christian Science, revealed to this age through our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I write this testimony.
Twenty-eight years ago this Science was brought to my notice when my mother was given up by materia medica. She had been suffering from gallstones for a long time, and the doctors said an operation was the only remedy, but her age made it inadvisable.
A friend told us of Christian Science, and we began at once to read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, with the result that my mother was healed and lived many years in the enjoyment of health and greater activity. Other conditions also healed were bronchitis, heart trouble, and rheumatic gout from which she had suffered many years. Through study and endeavoring to think rightly about my mother I was healed of anemia, and ever since I have relied solely on Christian Science, and it has never failed me.
