Christian Science is one of my greatest blessings. I have learned that God never forsakes us if we trust Him, for we are told, "It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." My call was answered a few years ago when I was healed of jaundice. The condition came on very suddenly. I knew the symptoms because I had had the same ailment several years before, was under medical treatment for five weeks, and was away from my business for eight weeks. This time I had help in Christian Science. I was taken sick about seven in the evening. A practitioner was called at eleven o'clock, but since I did not seem to get any relief, the practitioner was called again at four in the morning. From then on I began to improve, and by the second day I was entirely healed, and have never had a return of this trouble.
I have also had a healing of ptomaine poisoning and blood poisoning (septic infection).
I feel very grateful for Christian Science, for it has taught me the facts of God's nearness and protection in my daily life, and has shown me that "in him we live, and move, and have our being." I am grateful for the blessed Christ Science which Mrs. Eddy worked so hard to give to all mankind, and I am happy to know the true God, who holds my life in His hand.— Harlingen, Texas.
