It is with gratitude and inspiration for the awakening that came into my life with the realization of real or spiritual sight that I wish to give this testimony.
I was healed in Christian Science of blindness in the right eye three months before I was to become totally blind, according to the opinion of noted physicians.
I did not purchase and read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy with any thought of being healed. My desire was to know more about God, who, I was told, Christian Science held to be divine Love. I wanted to find God and know more about Him if, according to medical opinion, the rest of my days were to be spent in darkness. I wanted to give out a cheerful and happy thought to those who might be trying to console me. When the healing came, it was a great revelation to me, and since that time the right understanding of Christian Science has helped me to overcome thoughts of loss, grief, separation, and stagnation.
