I want to express gratitude for God's tender care, for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science and Leader of the Christian Science movement.
About sixteen years ago, while getting ready to go to the hospital for treatment for rheumatism, I received an invitation to spend a few days at a friend's home. While there I heard of Christian Science for the first time. Peace dawned on me, and I felt a new hope in life. When we returned home the following day with the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read it almost day and night, and in two weeks I was completely healed. Since then many other diseases have been healed through the study and application of this Science, proving the statement in Psalms that it is God "who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."
I am indeed grateful that my son had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School. I have found the Reading Room a haven of refuge, and the literature a constant reminder of the enduring love of our beloved Leader. I am grateful for all these and for the kind practitioners, also for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church.— Geraldine, Montana.
