Testimonies of Healing

How can one be grateful enough...

From the April 1942 issue of The Christian Science Journal

How can one be grateful enough for Christian Science, which blesses all mankind! For surely, as each individual is blessed, blessing is brought in some degree to all. I was led to take up the study of this Science about thirteen years ago, not for physical healing, but because it seemed to me to be a logical, satisfying religion.

The first healing I experienced was of a skin irritation, which had appeared about the same season for two or three years preceding that time. This condition has never returned. Constipation had always been a source of much distress to me, but it left soon after I began the study of Christian Science. I was not aware of the healing for some time, but later realized that the trouble was no longer with me, and it has never bothered me since.

Through my own efforts, and at times through the loving help of consecrated Christian Science practitioners, who have been willing and ready to help at any time when they were called, I have been healed of various physical difficulties. Among these are included a very painful attack of food poisoning, sprained ankles, burns, a lacerated finger, warts, a badly injured toe, which I believe doctors would have found to be broken (although no material diagnosis or aid was sought), colds, mild influenza, and many other physical ills.
