I LEARNED of Christian Science when I was in my teens, and I can never feel grateful enough for its help and guidance during the last twenty years.
I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, but because I had had a miserable and unhappy childhood, and felt a great need of care, guidance, and protection. The understanding of God as my Father-Mother began to supply all these necessary things, including the discipline which I needed, and which had been greatly lacking.
Although, humanly speaking, I have received no financial support from my family, my life has been a continual unfoldment of good, of a wider and broader experience, of a secure and satisfying sense of supply, home, and service. I attribute all this to a growing understanding of my spiritual origin and of my unity with God, as revealed in Christian Science.
