I have had many proofs of God's loving care as evidenced in the healing power of Christian Science.
The experience I wish to tell of in this testimony was the complete healing of our son, when a baby, of acute infantile paralysis. At that time neither my husband nor I was interested in Christian Science, so we turned to doctors for help. We had the services of six different doctors, two of whom were specialists. They were very kind and did all in their power to relieve the suffering, but they told us that there was no hope of our son's recovery. It is said that "the darkest hour precedes the dawn," and this was our darkest hour.
That evening a sister, a student of Christian Science, came to our home and told us about Christian Science. Absent treatment was given, and immediately our son began to improve. In a short while he was able to move both legs, which had been paralyzed from his hips to his feet. His progress was gradual, and in a few months he was completely healed. The doctors said his healing was the most unique one they had ever witnessed. One said it must have been the work of God. Our son, who is now a grown man, has never had any return of the sickness. For this healing and many others I am truly grateful.
