Woman of Shunem, how truly great you were!
Did you admit belief your child had died?
Ah, no! "It shall be well," you said,
And sought the man of God instead.
And to his question, "Is it well?" you swift replied,
"It is well," then waited trustingly outside
Elisha's door. Soon came the words, "Take up thy son."
And, seeing him restored whole as before,
You knelt in gratitude upon the floor—
Though you had never doubted the wonder would occur.
