COME YE INTO THE COURTS OF GOD

From the January 1945 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Come ye into the courts of God
With joyous psalms of praise,
For God is King above all kings,
The keeper of our ways.
His courts afford security
From every mortal foe;
They give us shelter from the blasts
When winds of error blow.

The gates into God's holy courts
Swing open when we praise,
They bid us enter in and dwell
Where good is ours always;
For God is good, and God is Love,
He is that All-in-all
Who ever meets our daily need
When on His name we call.

Then come into the courts of God
And magnify His name,
For here is healing for the sick,
The deaf, the blind, the lame.
The righteous flourish in God's courts,
Their sorrows find surcease;
They go from strength to boundless strength,
And all their paths are peace.
