In grateful acknowledgment of the many blessings that have come into my experience through Christian Science during the past twenty years, I give my testimony.
When Christian Science was presented to me I felt no particular need of physical healing, but I did realize my need for something that I did not have. An earnest student of Christian Science who was visiting our home offered to lend me a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, but I hesitated to read it because I had been prejudiced against Christian Science and Mrs. Eddy. However, after reading the Preface and several pages of the chapter on Prayer, I realized that I had been misinformed. I had only finished reading this chapter when I joyfully experienced freedom from three erroneous conditions of long standing, including strained eyes, for which I had worn glasses for more than ten years. I have had many physical healings through the study and application of the truth, and with the help of practitioners. I am also very grateful for a much better understanding of the Bible.
For divine Love's unceasing protection and guidance, for some understanding of God's omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence, and for the overcoming of the belief of separation when loved ones passed on, I am increasingly grateful. Christian Science is the greatest thing that has ever come into my life, and it has never failed me when properly applied. I have found Christian Science of much benefit in business also.
