To have been brought up by Christian Science parents in a loving, harmonious home, to have experienced the protection and healing power of Christian Science all my life, these blessings are only part of the good for which I thank God.
With the help of Christian Science practitioners a severe and persistent case of hay fever was healed when I was willing to express more patience and unselfishness and understood that man is sensitive only to good.
When one of our sons was about seven years of age, a dentist told us that his teeth would need straightening in a few years. On the way home from the dentist's office the boy and I turned our thoughts away from the idea of a mortal man and contemplated man as he really is, God's idea. We spoke of how in God's kingdom there is perfect order, no crowding, and how each idea of God has his right place. We then forgot the whole incident, and the following year when this same dentist again cleaned the boy's teeth he commented on how perfectly placed the teeth were. We are so very grateful for another proof of Jesus' statement (Matt. 19:26), "With God all things are possible."
