ANNOUNCEMENT

Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy

From the May 1947 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy have accepted the resignation of Alfred Pittman, C.S.B., as Publishers' Agent, Mr. Pittman having been elected a member of The Christian Science Board of Directors. In so doing they express their sincere appreciation for Mr. Pittman's valuable and efficient services in that capacity for more than four years.

The Trustees announce the appointment of Hudson C. Burr, C.S., of Brookline, Massachusetts, to the position of Publishers' Agent. The responsibilities of the office include the printing, binding, and publication of the published works of Mary Baker Eddy and their sale throughout the world.

Mr. Burr is a native of Plainfield, New Jersey, and received his early education in the schools there. Following his graduation from Brown University, where he received a degree in electrical engineering, he became Assistant Commercial Engineer of the Westinghouse Company in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and held a similar position later with The Holophane Engineering Company in Ohio.
