I wish to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science and for the unselfish devotion of Mary Baker Eddy in giving it to the world. I am most grateful that my family accepted Christian Science the second time it was presented to us about fourteen years ago. Since then I have experienced and witnessed many healings.
I have been healed of sudden deafness, which was apparently caused by an abscess in the ear. Within a week I was able to attend a concert and enjoy it, and the entire problem was soon overcome. I have also been healed of acne after having tried every known material remedy for years. The healing is so complete that the mental picture is entirely gone.
Through sincere prayer true companionship was revealed, and this later led to a happy marriage. My husband turned to Christian Science, and we are both grateful for the protection and freedom from fear which he had during the recent war. We are also grateful for the splendid work of the Christian Science Wartime Ministers. Although at the time he was drafted he felt that he was being deprived of the opportunity to progress, during the war he made abundant progress.
