I am very grateful that I grasped the teachings of Christian Science presented to me during many years of attendance at the Christian Science Sunday School. Through the application of the truths I learned there I have been enabled to pass many milestones in my journey from sense to Soul.
Physical healings have been countless. When I was a child, winter always meant a long succession of colds. Earnest, persistent prayer over the years brought a clearer understanding of my God-given dominion and resulted in my unconditional release from this bondage. Some years ago I was healed of erysipelas through the work of a practitioner. It was revealed to me that my attitude toward another, though calling itself love, was but the mortal, erring counterfeit of divine Love. As I replaced the false concept with the true understanding and expression of Love, I was healed.
Lost articles have been recovered through the understanding that nothing can be outside the realm of ever-present, all-knowing Mind. One day I had been wearing a pair of gold pins when I noticed that one was missing. On two previous occasions one of them had dropped off and had been found. As I recalled those experiences and the declarations of Truth I had made, I realized that those truths were still in operation in my behalf. Having proved those truths before, I did not need to repeat my work. I saw that my need was not to recover a lost article, but to awake from the mesmerism that would have me accept as true that which I had already proved false. A few days later the pin was returned to me in a most unexpected way through no effort on my part.
