Through the study of Christian Science I have discovered that "in him [God] we live, and move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28). And my rich heritage as an heir of God is being daily unfolded to me.
From the time that I was first able to talk, I was taught the precepts of Christian Science by my mother; but because of my father's fear of what he thought Christian Science to be, it was not until I was in my middle teens that I was able to attend a Christian Science Sunday School.
Up to this time I had relied very largely on my mother and on Christian Science practitioners for metaphysical help. Through the guidance of my Sunday School teacher, who is also a Christian Science practitioner, I discovered that the truths which I was learning were vital, practical, and simple enough for me to demonstrate myself. Ever since that time more of truth has continued to unfold in my consciousness, inspiring me daily to greater works.
