"Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul" (Ps. 66: 16). I am so grateful for the sustaining power of Truth as revealed in Christian Science.
Several years ago my husband passed on very suddenly. I immediately called a consecrated practitioner, who recommended that I sing and read the hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal. I was uplifted at once and could feel the presence of God's love at all times. My heart was so filled with gratitude for the loving work being done for me, for the sense of freedom from fear, and for the great sense of love for everyone that I was healed of a serious heart condition of twelve years' standing. All sense of grief vanished instantly as well.
My husband had expressed many times the hope that I would continue to be active in the Christian Science movement in some capacity. My great desire was, in the words of a hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal (No. 235),
